Lymphatic Disorders.

Over 16 Million Americans Affected.

Zero Disease Modifying Treatment Options.

Lymphatic disorders like lymphedema and lipedema impact millions, yet these patients are frequently undiagnosed, misdiagnosed and misunderstood. When lymphatic disorders are correctly diagnosed, patients are faced with limited treatment options, none of which address the underlying cause of the disease.

Celltaxis is Building a Pipeline of Treatments that are Designed to Restore Lymphatic Function

At Celltaxis we are advancing a first-in-class, small-molecule therapy designed to target the underlying biology driving lymphatic dysfunction - inflammation, adipose tissue remodeling, and fibrosis. Our approach moves beyond symptom management towards disease-modifying therapies, with the goals of redefining treatment paradigms in lymphatic disease and creating long-term value.

Molecular Targeting

Molecular Targeting

Our proprietary compounds specifically modulate the damaging inflammatory process and facilitate repair of lymphatic tissue.

Active Drainage

Active Drainage

Stimulating healthy lymphatic pumping to actively clear accumulated proteins and fluid, providing cooling relief.

Tissue Health

Tissue Health

Preventing fibrosis and adipose tissue deposition to preserve limb function and improve long-term quality of life.

Understanding Lymphedema

What is lymphedema?

Lymphedema occurs when the lymphatic system is not functioning correctly, leading to lymphatic fluid accumulating in tissues, most commonly the arms or legs. With time, the fluid buildup triggers chronic inflammation, adipose accumulation, tissue changes, fibrosis, and progressive swelling.

Most commonly patients with lymphedema have undergone cancer treatments including surgery and radiation therapy, or suffer from chronic venous insufficiency, obesity, infection, or trauma. In rare cases lymphedema is due to congenital or genetic abnormalities.

Living with lymphedema

Patients living with lymphedema experience a serious reduction in quality-of-life. Symptoms include increased limb volume, skin thickening, discomfort, disfigurement, reduced mobility, and a heightened risk of infection. Many patients have to change jobs or reduce their work hours to accommodate the disease.

For many patients, the emotional burden of the disease is greater than the physical. Patients experience frustration, social isolation and a lack of understanding from their peers. At Celltaxis we want patients to feel validated as we are deeply aware of the pain and suffering and are committed to providing treatment options as fast as possible.

Understanding Lipedema

What is lipedema?

Lipedema almost exclusively affects women, and often emerges or worsens during periods of hormonal change. Patients experience an abnormal accumulation of fat in either the arms or legs, which is accompanied by chronic pain, and is resistant to diet and exercise. Patients are frequently diagnosed as obese, with the root cause of the illness going unrecognized. The biological drivers of lipedema are distinct from obesity, although some patients suffer from both conditions.

Living with lipedema

Patients with lipedema suffer both physically and emotionally, with symptoms including disproportionate fat distribution, pain, easy bruising, swelling, and reduced mobility. Frustration, anxiety and ultimately a decrease in quality of life.
